Careers Privacy Notice

Who this applies to

This notice explains how NoshBox handles the information you give us when you apply for a job through our careers page. We hire in the United States and in India, and applications for all roles come through this shared careers portal.

What we collect

When you apply, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

• Your name, email address, phone number, and general location.
• Your resume file, any files you attach to a question (such as a media kit or screenshots of your audience), and any links you share (portfolio, GitHub, LinkedIn, social profiles).
• Your cover letter and answers to application questions, including work authorization where applicable.
• A record of your consent (the version you accepted and the time), and basic technical data such as your IP address and browser, used to operate and secure the form.

Please do not send sensitive information. We do not ask for, and you should not include, your Social Security number, Aadhaar or other government ID, date of birth, banking details, or information about protected characteristics (such as race, religion, caste, health, or disability).

How we use it

We use your information only to evaluate your application, communicate with you, and run and improve our hiring process. Applications are reviewed by people on our team. We do not use automated decision-making or AI tools to screen, score, or reject applicants.

Who can see it

Access is limited to the NoshBox team members involved in hiring. Your resume and any files you attach are stored in a private, access-controlled location and are never publicly accessible. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

For US applications we retain records for at least one year, as required by US recordkeeping rules, and may keep them somewhat longer in case a future role is a fit. For other applications we keep them for a reasonable hiring period and then delete them. In every case we delete once we are no longer required to retain the record, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted by emailing support@noshboxapp.com. We will honor your request unless we are legally required to retain the records. If you are in India, you can use the same address to exercise your rights or raise a grievance about how we handle your data.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our hiring practices change. If we begin using any automated or AI tools in hiring, we will update this notice and provide the notices the law requires before doing so.
